BARRY SCHNEIER

Barry first began his photo work as an undergraduate at Emerson College. In the seventies, he captured many musicians, both established and up-and-coming, as a photographer for local promoters. Most noted is Barry’s work photographing a young Bruce Springsteen on the historic evening of May 9, 1974 when Real Paper journalist, Jon Landau, declared, “I saw the future of Rock and Roll and it's name is Bruce Springsteen”. In the years to follow, Barry continued to cover the music scene from Boston to

San Francisco and on to Los Angeles.
